Peter established Policy Real Estate just over five years ago because he wanted to provide real estate services with true integrity and honesty. He's created an agency that's a professional and ethical team, provides one-on-one service and yet is relaxed for anyone to drop in for a cuppa and chat about their needs.
For Pete personally, it's all about helping people be happy with finding what they want. "I get a real buzz out of seeing people happy, because buying or selling a property is a life changing time and it's important people are really pleased with the outcome," says Pete. He also believes that good real estate service is about looking after clients 'fair and square' and ensuring they get real value for money. "Listening to people, caring about them and being available when they need you is our aim," he says.
Former work experience in everything from specialized welding and engineering to being an RACQ mechanic to managing a caravan park and motel, has given Pete a vast range of experience and people skills. He's worked in real estate in the Brisbane Valley and lived here for some 16 years. Esk is an area close to his heart. Pete believes it offers a quality rural lifestyle, is a great place to invest and that demand for real estate throughout the Valley will continue to increase.
Vivienne’s goal as a Policy Sales Consultant is to connect buyers with sellers and help make the entire process as uncomplicated as possible. She has a strong capacity for listening with empathy and commitment to being available to clients. “When people are buying or selling property it is a major decision —both financially and emotionally—so it’s important to work with them to suit their timing and their needs,” says Viv. She loves being part of the small team of professionals at Policy as it allows her to be very ‘hands on’ and work in an environment where ‘you get back what you put in’.
Viv is a local and her 30 acre property is home to seven beloved horses—her passion along with running and dogs. Also a qualified Parelli Natural Horsemanship Instructor, Viv previously conducted mobile horsemanship clinics throughout Australia while working in a rural environment, prior to intensively studying property investment. She’s excited about the growth of the Brisbane Valley and that through her work at Policy, she’s helping the district become a highly sought after lifestyle area.
Deborah is new to the district and is especially loving being able to work locally and having the opportunity to really get to know the people in her community. Her priorities are keeping in contact with vendors and buyers so that all are kept informed and feel satisfied with her service. She believes strongly that integrity, honesty and listening to clients needs are the keys to being successful in real estate. "I want clients to feel comfortable with me and yet know I’m impartial and fair to both parties," she says. It’s also important to her that what she does at Policy and within her position benefits the district by making people aware of the Brisbane Valley’s special qualities—and it's that kind of 'personal PR' work she very much enjoys.
Deb has recently bought one of the smaller original homes Esk and is restoring it. Her former work experience has been in service industries such as government delivery services and the local courts, and these roles have equipped her with great people skills. "I want the clients I deal with to feel as though they've made a friend during their buying or selling experience and that I'm someone who does care," says Deb.
